Artist’s statement:
The eyes observe with experience
The heart will feel meaningful things
The mind shall open to imagination and the unconscious
Neither flower nor insect, but yet they could be either. The ambiguity of the organic shapes makes the work resist recognisability. They embody the idea of duality and more, which encompasses the duality of men and women, and the role they play as partner & people. They are also what people perceive them to be, changing according to the observer’s emotion and experience.
